Midas Events Management (MEM) is a business events management company based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. As a business unit of Falconet Resources Sdn Bhd (FRSB), MEM proudly received the APAC Insider South-East-Asia Business Awards 2021, winning the title of "Best Corporate Events Management Company – East Malaysia."
With a collective experience of over 20 years within our core team, MEM boasts extensive expertise in all facets of event management until execution.
MEM has also been honored with the Corporate LiveWire Global Awards 2021/2022, recognized as the "Corporate Events Management Specialists of the Year."
Our dedicated core team comprises professionals with profound experience in their respective fields. From strategic planning to creative direction and flawless execution, MEM's team operates with unwavering passion to deliver impactful events.
Since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in early 2020, MEM has diversified its offerings to include online conferences, exhibitions, and networking events. Successfully organizing three online conferences and business matching events, we have set new milestones in the industry. MEM remains committed to creating impactful events.
Our Story
We are an established event management company renowned for our expertise in organizing diverse trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions in Sabah since 2012. Over the years, we have evolved into a specialized Business Events management firm, committed to delivering impactful conferences & exhibitions focusing on SOGCE and REGTech Sabah. Our comprehensive services encompass the entire event lifecycle, from project conceptualization, management and execution.

Incorporated on 23 April 2014, Falconet Resources Sdn Bhd currently has two business units, namely Midas Events Management and Evexia Facilities Management.
We collaborate/partner with experienced professionals and products & service suppliers to provide expertise and innovative solutions to improve productivity and profitability of our clients’ core business and improving the quality of life of people.

Dolly Jimayol, CEM
Owner/Project Director (MEM), Director, Falconet Resources Sdn Bhd
Ms. Dolly Jimayol, CEM (Certified in Exhibition Management), is a distinguished professional holding an Executive MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from Asia e University, Subang Jaya, Malaysia, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Australian Institute of Business, and a Diploma in Business Studies from Universiti Institute Teknologi Mara, Shah Alam, Malaysia. With over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience, including a decade specializing in events, Ms. Jimayol brings a wealth of expertise to her endeavors.
Previously, Ms. Jimayol served as an Internal Auditor with Sabah Development Bank Bhd from 1983 to 1993 before transitioning to roles in various stockbroking firms including Innosabah Securities Sdn Bhd (now known as UOB Kay Hian Securities (M) Sdn Bhd), HLG Capital Bhd (now known as Hong Leong Capital Bhd), and OSK Holdings (now known as OSK Investment Bank Bhd) from 1993 to 2004 as a Commissioned Dealers’ representative (Remisier). During this time, she managed both her own clients' portfolios and those of the Sabah State Investment Holding Company.
In 2004, she ventured into consulting, specializing in preparing business plans and marketing strategies for start-up entrepreneurs. Additionally, from 2004 to 2011, Ms. Jimayol served as the Centre Manager for a long-distance learning MBA Programme, overseeing the Sabah sector's operations, including marketing, teaching, exam preparation, and administrative duties.
Since 2012, fueled by her passion for corporate events, Ms. Jimayol has led the organization of various corporate events (now known as Business Events). As the founder of MEM, she spearheads the Business Events unit, playing a pivotal role in its operations. Her strengths lie in public relations, advertising, marketing, client management, event planning, and execution.
Sonia H.
Creative Director (MEM), Director, Falconet Resources Sdn Bhd
Ms. Sonia Hiew is an entrepreneur and branding and marketing professional with a Bachelor of Business (Hons) in International Business and Marketing from University of the West of England, Bristol.
Sonia began her career in brand activation and implementing marketing campaigns for key accounts such as Maxis Hotlink, Digi and Standard Chartered. Her later work experience includes market research, developing marketing and promotional campaigns for L’Oreal Paris, events planning as well as entrepreneurship.
Sonia has more than 10 years of experience in branding and creative marketing which have provided her a platform to utilize and expand her branding, marketing as well as project management and leadership skills. Throughout her experience, Sonia has managed and led creative teams to produce brand portfolios, design websites, print materials, advertising collateral and branded digital content while ensuring brand consistency across all facets of the company. Her work also includes strategic brand development, conceptualization, and implementation.
Sonia is skilled in Creative Branding, Digital Strategy, Social Media Branding, Visual Marketing, Business Planning, Project Portfolio Management, Web Design with basic HTML and CSS knowledge, Project Management and Implementation, E-Commerce, and Client Relations.
